During a CT-Scan the tube rotates 1-2 times each second.

After the examination of the patient the tube has to be stopped. That causes braking energy.

The brake energy has to be managed safely and quickly with an external brake resistor.

Our brake resistor BWD600047TS-120 (240 Watt / 47 Ohm / IP65 / temperature switch) is connected as an external braking resistor.

The brake energy is handled safely and quickly

The temperature switch monitors the surface of the brake resistor and gives an additional safety feature
Braking energy is dissipated safely and quickly
