Temperature probe TF for BWD and BWG

For monitoring the temperature of the case from the outside, combined with an overriding control.

The temperature probe with switch temperatures from 60 to 160°C (available in steps of 10°K) comes in a temperature-proof plastic case and fits exactly into the lateral slot of our resistors of the BWD and BWG series. The flexes have a length of approx. 600 mm.

If you order the TF accessory, the resistors are delivered with the TF already mounted.

Important information:

The cooling-down temperature of the resistors (temperature rise of the case after the mains supply to the resistor is switched off) can be very high in pulsed operation. Please consider this in the design.

A temperature probe can only serve its purpose, if it is part of the control or the control circuit so that its switching operation cuts off the mains supply for the resistor. If this is not the case, it is of no use to install one and the inherent safety features of the resistor have to be relied on.

When ordering this accessory TF the resistors will be delivered with assembled TF.
